75 minutes playing time, including three encores. The
last time I saw Crucified Barbara live was with Arch Enemy in Z7 two years ago. At
the moment they are on tour in Europe in order to promote their current
album „In The Red“. SuperCharger
and Junkstars are the support
acts. The „In
The Red“ tour stopped at the Metal temple Z7 in Pratteln for an exclusive
Swiss show. The show hasn’t sold many tickets and that’s the reason why
the show is goin‘ to happen in the Mini Z7. That means the Z7 get smaller
and the bands perform on the small stage. The
first band of the evening was Junkstars.
The Punk’N’Roll trio from Stockholm was happy about performin‘ in the
Z7 in Switzerland for the first time. Singer/Guitarist Max Malmquist had so
much fun, he involved the crowd into the performance and thanked for the
warm welcome. The spark leaped over and singer/guitarist Max Malmquist,
bassist/singer Tobbe Ljungqvist and drummer Mathias Wanneberg received
applause for their efforts. Their performance ended after 40 minutes. Playlist

Inside Then the Danes SuperCharger was the next band. The guys from Copenhagen had been several times in Switzerland and were warmly received from the crowd. Singer Mikkel Nerperus took the crowd kindly for a ride with lines from Matthias Reim hit „Verdammt ich lieb dich“ and provided entertainment. But to my surprise he spoke German very well and used the opportunity for a conversation with the spectators. He also claimed pianist Ronni Claessen is „The Sexiest Guy in the Band“. Mikkel also told the spectators they thought they are the worst band in the world at the beginning of their careers. And Mikkel warned the spectators about never gettin‘ trouble with the police. SuperCharger convinced also with Turbo Rock and enthralled the crowd. The song „Blood Red Lips“ was dedicated to all spectators for showin‘ up tonight. Singer Mikkel Nerperus and his bandmates left the stage after 40-45 minutes. The Matthias Reim hit „Verdammt ich lieb dich“ made you chuckle. Well
it took a moment and the stage was prepared for headliner Crucified
Barbara. The Swedes entered the stage after 10 PM. The audience was
delighted longingly at them. I was wonderin‘ what would follow the same. There
was a veritable Heavy Metal firework with room for ballads. Singer/Guitarist
Mia Coldheart kicked ass vocally and convinced through her appearance. Her
bandmates Klara Force and Ida Evileye were great too. Klara and Ida
delivered guitar duells with Mia Coldheart and they received applause. The
crowd was in party mood and the Crucified
Barbara band members felt it after every song. It was awesome for a
Tuesday night. There
was such a good atmosphere in the Z7 and the band got great resonances. The
focus was on the band’s current album „In The Red“ but there was space
for songs from the predecessor „Midnight Chase“ besides older songs from
„In Distortion We Trust“ and „Til Death Do Us Party“. The
spectators weren’t satisfied after the regular set and asked for an
encore. The
songs „My Heart is Black“, „Electric Sky“ and „Into The Fire“
followed as encores. Playlist

The Swedes got a lot of applause for the great performance and bowed down to
the sensational crowd.

Das
letzte Mal sah ich Crucified Barbara vor zwei Jahren als sie mit Arch Enemy ein Konzert
im Z7 spielten. Derzeit sind sie auf Europa Tour um ihr aktuelles Album
„In The Red“ zu promoten. Als Anheizer sind die Bands SuperCharger und Junkstars
am Start. Für ein exklusives Schweizer Konzert legt die „In The Red“
Tour einen Halt im Metaltempel Z7 in Pratteln ein. Da die Show nicht viele
Tickets verkauft hat, findet das Konzert im Mini Z7 statt. D.h das Z7 wird
verkleinert und die Bands spielen auf der kleinen Bühne. Als
erste Band spielten die Schweden von Junkstars.
Das Punk‘N‘Roll Trio aus Stockholm war zum ersten Mal in der Schweiz und
freute sich darüber im Z7 auftreten zu könne. Sänger/Gitarrist Max
Malmquist hatte so viel Spass daran, dass er das Publikum nicht nur in die
Darbietung miteinbezog, sondern auch sich bedankte für den warmen Empfang.
Der Funke sprang auf die Zuschauer über und für ihre Bemühungen ernteten
Sänger/Gitarrist Max Malmquist, Bassist/Sänger Tobbe Ljungqvist und
Schlagzeuger Mathias Wanneberg Applaus. Nach 40 Minuten endete ihr Auftritt.

Junkstars Satan
Inside Danach
waren die Dänen von SuperCharger dran. Die Jungs aus Kopenhagen waren schon einige Male
in der Schweiz und wurden vom Publikum freundlich begrüsst. Mit Zeilen vom
Matthias Reim Hit „Verdammt ich lieb dich“ nahm Frontmann Mikkel
Nerperus die Zuschauer auf die Schippe und sorgte für Unterhaltung. Zu
meiner Überraschung konnte er sehr gut Deutsch und nutzte die Gelegenheit
mit den Zuschauern zu plaudern. Ausserdem behauptete er, Pianist Ronni
Claesen wäre der „Sexiest Guy in the Band“. Ausserdem erzählte Sänger
Mikkel, dass sie zu Beginn dachten, sie wären die beschissenste Band der
Welt. Und Mikkel ermahnte die Zuschauer daran, nie Probeme mit der Polizei
zu bekommen. SuperCharger überzeugten
auch musikalisch mit eingängigem Turbo Rock und begeisterten das Publikum.
„Blood Red Lips“ widmeten SuperCharger
allen Zuschauern fürs erscheinen. Nach 40-45 Minuten verabschiedeten sich Sänger
Mikkel Nerperus und seine Bandkollegen und verliessen die Bühne. Als Outro
sorgte danach Matthias Reims „Verdammt ich lieb dich“ für Lacher. Nun
dauerte es einen Moment und die Bühne wurde für den Headliner Crucified
Barbara vorbereitet. Nach 22 Uhr betraten die Schwedinnen dann die Bühne
und das Publikum freute sich sehnsüchtig auf sie. Ich
war gespannt was gleich folgen würde. Es
folgte ein regelrechtes Heavy Metal Feuerwerk, bei dem es sogar Platz hatte
für Balladen. Sängerin/Gitarristin Mia Coldheart gab stimmlich und optisch
Vollgas. Ihre Bandkolleginnen Klara Force und Ida Evileye standen dem in
nichts nach. Klara und Ida lieferten sich zusammen mit Frontfrau Mia tolle
Gitarrenduelle was mit viel Applaus bedacht wurde. Für einen Dienstagabend
war das Publikum regelrecht in Feierlaune und dies spürten die Crucified
Barbara Mitglieder nach jedem Lied. Eine tolle Stimmung herrschte im Z7
und die Band wurde regelrecht abgefeiert. Neben Liedern von der aktuellen
Scheibe „In The Red“ fanden auch Nummern vom Vorgänger „Midnight
Chase“ ihren Platz in die Setliste genauso wie ältere Lieder von „Til
Death Do Us Party“ und „In Distortion We Trust“. Nach
dem regulären Set hatten die Zuschauer noch lange nicht genug und
verlangten nach Zugaben. Mit „My Heart is Black“, „Electric Sky“ und
der Abrissbirne „Into The Fire“ folgten gleich drei Zugaben! Setliste

Minuten Spielzeit inklusive drei Zugaben sorgten für einen herausragenden
Auftritt von Crucified Barbara.
Die Schwedinnen bekamen viel Applaus für die tolle Leistung und verneigten
