South French Metal sensation.

EtHERSENS is a French Avantgarde Metal band from Toulouse. The South French Metal sensation issues its second album „Your Wandering Ghost“ via Scarlet Records. It’s been five years after their critically acclaimed debut release „Ordinary Days“. The French visionary artist Romain Barbot designed t he beautiful cover artwork.

In contrast to its predecessor „Ordinary Days“, „Your Wandering Ghost“ is in many ways darker. This is because there’s a concept behind the album about a relationship between two people which takes a tragic turn.

The music on „Your Wandering Ghost“ is innovative and emotional at the same time. Singer Laurent Mora has a not insignificant share of it, because his voice reminds me of deceased Alice in Chains singer Layne Stayley.

EtHERSENS music is an interestin’ mix of Porcupine Tree, Karnivool, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. Who ever wanted to know how such music sounds can’t ignore this band!

EtHERSENS ist eine französische Avantgarde Metal Band aus Toulouse. Mit „Your Wandering Ghost“ veröffentlicht die Südfranzosen Metal Sensation ihr zweites Album via Scarlet Records nachdem ihr hochgelobtes Debüt „Ordinary Days“ vor fünf Jahren erschienen ist. Das Cover zu „Your Wandering Ghost“ stammt vom französischen visionären Künstler Romain Barbot.

Im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger „Ordinary Days“ ist „Your Wandering Ghost“ auf viele Arten düsterer ausgefallen. Dies liegt auch daran, dass sich beim aktuellen Album ein Konzept dahinter verbirgt um eine Beziehung zwischen zwei Menschen, die eine tragische Wendung nimmt.

Die Musik auf „Your Wandering Ghost“ ist innovativ und emotional zugleich was sie von der breiten Masse hervorhebt. Einen nicht unerheblichen Anteil daran hat Sänger Laurent Mora, dessen Stimme mich an den verstorbenen Alice in Chains Sänger Layne Stayley erinnert.

Die Musik von EtHERSENS ist eine interessante Mischung aus Porcupine Tree, Karnivool, Alice in Chains und Pearl Jam. Wer schon immer wissen wollte wie sich so etwas klingt, kommt an dieser Band nicht vorbei!
