For Ashes issued their debut „When
Passion Goes Fashion“ EP in February 2014 on their own. The young
French Metalcore Band from Paris is active since 2010 and issued a demo
called „One Way Escape“ in December 2011. Their crazy stage
performance allowed them playin‘ 60 shows in seven different
countries. They supported well-known bands like Miss May I (USA), Born
From Pain (NL), Battlecross (USA), Dream On Dreamer (USA), Do Or Die
(BE) and TesseracT (UK).
On „When Passion Goes
Fashion“ a mixture of Metalcore, Nu-Metal and Southern Rock is played.
A powerful production by Leo Natale makes the high
explosive sonic brew blewin’ out the speakers and is a first plus.
Another
plus point is the original mix of above mentioned music styles. It takes
a moment to the listener until the complex music opens up, therefore
you’ve to hear the EP repeatedly. If the listener has opened once
the music, there’s no turning back!
No one else
than Attila singer Christopher „Fronz“ Fronzak is the guest singer
on the second song „RHB“.
For the
second single „Trucker“ a professional video was realized in
cooperation with the firm creat’inscope.

lot of potential, and not without reason the French scene stirrin‘ up
duly and breathes new life.

For Ashes veröffentlichten im Februar
2014 mit der EP „When Passion Goes Fashion“ ihr Debüt in
Eigenregie. Die junge französische Metalcore Band aus Paris ist seit
2010 aktiv und veröffentlichte im Dezember 2011 ihre Demo CD „One Way
Escape“. Dank ihrer verrückten Live Darbietung haben sie bisher 60
Konzerte in sieben verschiedenen Ländern gespielt. Dabei konnten sie im
Vorprogramm von nahmhaften Bands wie Miss May I (USA), Born From Pain
(NL), Battlecross (USA), Dream On Dreamer (USA), Do Or Die (BE) und
TesseracT (UK) auftreten.
Auf „When
Passion Goes Fashion“ wird eine Mischung aus Metalcore, Nu-Metal und
Southern Rock gespielt. Dank dem Soundtüftler Leo Natale knallt das
hochexplosive Schallgebräu aus den Lautsprechern und ist ein erster
Pluspunkt.
Ein
weiterer Pluspunkt ist die originelle Mischung aus oben erwähnten
Stilrichtungen. Es dauert einen Moment bis sich die komplexe Musik dem Hörer
erschliesst, daher muss man die EP mehrmals hintereinander anhören.
Wenn sich dem Hörer die Musik einmal erschlossen hat, gibt es kein Zurück!
Beim Song
„RHB“ fungiert kein geringerer als Attila Frontmann Christopher
„Fronz“ Fronzak als Gastsänger.
Für die
zweite Singleauskopplung „Trucker“ von „When Passion Goes
Fashion“ wurde ein professionelles Video in Zusammenarbeit mit der
Firma Creat’inscope realisiert.
Wer schon
immer wissen wollte wie eine Live Darbietung von Fight
For Ashes aussieht, kommt am Live Video zum Lied „Barely Human“
nicht vorbei.
Fight
For Ashes ist eine vielversprechende Band,
die viel Potential besitzt und nicht zu Unrecht die französische Szene
gehörig aufmischt und neues Leben einhaucht.
