line-up with Kreator, Arch
Enemy, Sodom and Vader is
definitively a highlight for the Extreme Metal sector. The tour stopped on
its last day in Pratteln for a show at Z7 and caused a sold out event. That
was on a Sunday night! The
Z7 opened its doors on 5 PM and you could enter the venue after a short
check by the securities. Merchandise by Sodom
and Vader was sold outside and Merchandise by Kreator and Arch Enemy
was sold inside the venue. The
Polish Death Metal band Vader entered the stage on 5:40 PM after a ten minutes delay. This
didn’t detract from the good mood, because Vader
kicked ass from the beginning. Singer Piotr Wiwczarek pushed the audience
but it wasn’t necessary. The spectators banged their heads and liked the
music. The performance was great and earned much applause. Bassist Tomasz
Halicki and guitarist Marek Pajak changed their positions to make sure that
all fans were able to see them. Singer Piotr amazed the audience with his
German language knowledge. He spoke German without accent and received much
applause. Singer Piotr Wiwczarek and his fellow bandmates bowed down to the
audience before they left the stage. The audience liked their performance
very much. Another plus point was the use of the Star Wars theme as outro. Setlist Vader Abandon
All Hope Sodom
was the next band. The German Thrash Metal legend about singer Tom
Angelripper kicked ass from the beginning and caused intense moshpits. Tom
was in a good mood and was happy bein‘ here tonite. There was no space for
a break, because Tom and his bandmates played the whole setlist and the
spectators kept the pace the whole time! The Arch Enemy members Michael
Amott and Jeff Loomis entered the stage for the last song „Blasphemer“
to perform with Tom Angelripper and guitarist Frank Testegen and to fire up
the spectators one more time. After that the show ended and Sodom were greeted with frenetic applause. Setlist
Sodom Ausgebombt Now
it was time for Arch Enemy. A lot of male fans were excited about the Swedish
Melodic Death Metal band with the new singer Alissa White-Gluz, because she
isn’t only beautiful but she also cares about animal protection. Arch
Enemy entered the stage after the intro „Teompore Nihil Sanat (Prelude
in F minor)“ and the Swedens started kickin‘ ass. Alissa dressed in
white joined the guys and smiled, because she was happy about tonite. Her
statement „I’m fuckin‘ sick tonite“ concerned the fans, but she
didn’t want cancel the show and that’s why she needed the support of the
fans. You didn’t notice she was sick, she smiled the whole time and
convinced vocally. She’s an adequate replacement even when her voice is
more melodic than the voice of Angela Gossow. The focus was on the songs
from the current album „War Eternal“ but older kick ass tracks like
„Revenance“ and „We Will Rise“ got played too. In the background
videos ran on the canvas and when „Under Black Flags We March“ got
played, Alissa came with the black flag with the Arch
enemy band logo runnin‘ up from the left to the right side of the
stage to the fans to send the fans to ecstasy. A
big plus was Alissa’s communication skills. That’s very important,
because it makes you feel as part of the show. Guitarist Michael Amott and
Jeff Loomis convinced with guitar duels. The show was great and
Alissa White-Gluz proved that she can kick ass too. Setlist Arch Enemy Teompore
Nihil Sanat (Prelude in F minor) Then
it was time for headliner Kreator. It was still quite early but a Flower Power Intro „Into
The Year 2525 (Evans & Zager Song)“ announced their show. The guys
with singer Mille Petrozza started the show with „Violent Revolution“.
Mille was in a good mood and wanted unleash total chaos in the Z7. „I
want see you goin‘ crazy! Gimme the total chaos!“ These calls didn’t
go unheard, because what followed were violent mosh pits, circle pits and
there was even space for a wall of death. Some fans prefered
crowdsurfin’ while others banged their heads to German Thrash Metal. The
guys performed well and there was no reason to complain. Mille and his
bandmates played three encores after the regular set. The first encore was a
cover of Iron Maiden classic track „Number Of The Beast“, the second
encore was „People of the Lie“ and the last encore was „Flag of Hate /
Tormentor“. The show of Kreator
ended on 11 PM and Mille Petrozza and his bandmates received much applause. Setlist

Ein
Package mit Bands wie Kreator, Arch Enemy,
Sodom und Vader gehört definitiv zu den Highlights im extremen Metal Sektor.
Die Tour legt am letzten Tag einen Halt im Schweizer Metaltempel Z7 in
Pratteln ein und sorgt umgehend für eine ausverkaufte Halle. Und das an
einem Sonntagabend! Um
17 Uhr öffnete das Z7 seine Pforten und nach einer kurzen Kontrolle der
Security durfte man eintreten. Während draussen Merchandise von Sodom
und Vader verkauft wurde, konnte
man drinnen Merchandise von Kreator
und Arch Enemy kaufen. Mit
einer 10-minütigen Verspätung betraten die polnischen Death Metaller Vader
um 17:40 Uhr die Bühne. Das tat der guten Stimmung keinen Abbruch, denn Vader
gaben sofort Vollgas. Sänger Piotr Wiwczarek trieb das Publikum an, was
jedoch nicht nötig war. Die Zuschauer liessen ihre Matten kreisen und
mochten die Musik auf Anhieb. Die Darbietung war astrein und sorgte für
viel Applaus. Zwischendurch wechselten Bassist Tomasz Halicki und Gitarrist
Marek Pajak die Positionen auf der Bühne damit alle Fans abwechselnd das
jeweilige Bandmitglied zu Gesicht bekam. Sänger Piotr verblüffte auch mit
Deutschkenntnissen. Er sprach ohne Akzent deutsch und erhielt dafür
Applaus. Weil das Publikum die Darbietung von den Polnischen Death Metallern
so sehr mochte, verabschiedeten sich Frontmann Piotr Wiwczarek und seine
Bandkollegen mit einer Verneigung vor den Zuschauern. Als weiterer Pluspunkt
folgte die Titelmelodie von „Star Wars“ als Outro. Setliste Vader Abandon
All Hope Danach
war Sodom dran. Die Teutonen
Thrash Metal Legende um Sänger Tom Angelripper gaben von Anfang an Vollgas
und sorgten für heftige Moshpits. Tom hatte gute Laune und freute sich über
den heutigen Auftritt. Ohne eine Atempause rocken die Mannen sich durch die
Setliste und die Zuschauer gehen dieses Tempo die ganze Zeit mit! Beim
letzten Lied „Blasphemer“ gesellten sich die Arch Enemy Mitglieder Michael Amott und Jeff Loomis auf die Bühne,
um gemeinsam mit Tom Angelripper und Gitarrist Frank Testegen abzurocken und
den Zuschauern nochmals ordentlich einzuheizen. Danach war Schluss und Sodom
wurde mit frenetischem Applaus verabschiedet. Setliste

Orange Jetzt
war es Zeit für Arch Enemy. Auf die Melodic Deather aus Schweden waren viele männliche
Fans sehr gespannt, denn die neue Frontfrau Alissa-White Gluz gibt nicht nur
optisch was her, sondern setzt sich auch für den Tierschutz ein. Nach dem
Intro „Teompore Nihil Sanat (Prelude in F minor)“ stürmten Arch
Enemy auf die Bühne und ehe man sich versah, gaben die Schweden
Vollgas. Alissa total in weiss gekleidet gesellte sich zu den Jungs und
brachte durch ihr bezauberndes Lächeln ihre Freude über die Show zum
Ausdruck. Ihre Aussage „I’m fuckin‘ sick today“ löste bei den Fans
Sorgen aus, aber sie wollte auf keinen Fall den heutigen Auftritt absagen
und benötigte darum umso mehr die Unterstützung der Fans. Dass sie krank
war, merkte man nicht, denn sie lächelte nicht nur die ganze Zeit, sondern
überzeugte auch stimmlich. Auch wenn ihre Stimme melodischer ausfällt als
die von Ex-Sängerin Angela Gossow, ist sie dennoch ein gleichwertiger
Ersatz. Obwohl der Focus auf den Liedern vom aktuellen Album „War
Eternal“ liegt, kommen dennoch Klassiker wie „Revenance“ und „We
Will Rise“ zum Zug. Im Hintergrund liefen Videos auf der Leinwand und bei
„Under Black Flags We March“ kam Alissa mit der schwarzen Fahne mit Arch
Enemy Bandlogo angerannt von der linken zur rechten Bühnenseite um
die Fans in Esktase zu versetzen. Ein grosses Plus war Alissas Kommunikation
mit dem Fans. Ist sehr wichtig, denn dadurch fühlt man sich als Teil des
Konzertes. Gitarrist Michael Amott und Jeff Loomis lieferten sich
Gitarrenduelle was für Begeisterung sorgte. Der Auftritt war grossartig.
Und Alissa-White Gluz hatte gezeigt, dass sie auch ordentlich Arsch treten

war Headliner Kreator dran. Es war zwar noch recht früh, aber ein Flower Power
Intro „In The Year 2525 (Zager & Evans Song)“ kündigte ihren
Auftritt an. Die Jungs um Frontmann Mille Petrozza eröffneten mit
„Violent Revolution“ ihr Set. Mille zeigte sich in guter Laune und
wollte das totale Chaos im Z7 entfesselt sehen. „Ich will euch durchdrehen
sehen! Gebt mir das blanke Chaos!“. Diese Rufe bliebe nicht ungehört,
denn was folgte waren heftige Moshpits, Circlepits und sogar für eine Wall
of Death reichte der Platz. Einige Fans zogen Crowdsurfing vor, während
andere lieber ihre Matten kreisen liessen zu energiegeladenem Teutonen
Thrash Metal der ersten Stunde. Die Jungs legten einen überragenden
Auftritt hin und es gab keinen Grund sich zu beklagen. Nach regulärem Set
spielten Mille & Co noch drei Zugaben. Die erste Zugabe war ein Cover
des Iron Maiden Klassikers „Number of The Beast“, die zweite Zugabe war
„People of the Lie“ und als letzte Zugabe wurde „Flag of Hate /
Tormentor“ gespielt. Um 23 Uhr war Kreators
Auftritt zu Ende und Mille Petrozza und seine Bandkollegen wurden mit viel
Applaus verabschiedet. Setliste
