The Italian pride has a name.

Lacuna Coil ….means the story of alternative goth metal…but this definition is reductive for them…a band able to write an important page in the metal and rock scene and now…thanks to acknowledged skill they’re famous in all over the world…

This album is really fantastic from the first to the last track and I notice an important difference comparing to the recent previous releases…They return to the obscurity of “In A Reverie” for what concern the atmosphere but the sound remains heavy and modern as the recent previous releases.
The title describes the album..it’s dark adrenaline…and I can’t but image these songs played into a live contest…
Let’s talk about the songs in open order….: “Give Me Something More” that reminds me of "Comalies" album…the classic Lacuna Coil riff supports an unforgettable melody that will remain in your head forever!!!
“End of Time” is pure sweetness and melancholy in which the band releases pure emotions like a sky from which a lot of falling stars comes down…Cristina ‘s appeal is more than awesome …she seems to touch your deep feelings thanks to a great interpretation..
“Intoxicated” is another mix of old and recent Lacuna Coil…the obscurity of the past mixed to the modern metal sound shown in the recent releases…AWESOME!!!

I can’t stop to listen to this album..and let’s go on to talk about the cover included in this album…It’s Losing My Religion (REM) …I never liked this song…but Lacuna Coil have been to realize a precious jewel …in this case this rearrangement is fantastic…The song keeps the same chords…but what a feeling!!!!
“The Army Inside” is pure DARK ADRENALINE…I can image the pogo-stick under the stage when they play to this song for live concert…A perfect groove supports another pearl …
The single “Kill The Light” is another successful song in which the band finds the groove , the dark and the power…ready to conquer those ones who need deep feelings from music…

Pure modern alternative goth in “I Don’t Believe In Tomorrow” in which the band puts its personal mark…it’s dark adrenaline!!!!!
The single “Trip The Darkness” represents the essence of this album that can be simply  described as: melancholic, powerful and dark!!!!
“Against you” “Upsidedown” and “Fire" confirm the good quality of the album which is closed by the gothic atmosphere of “My Spirit” …in which the old and the new style of the band seems to find the perfect mix…
The arrangements and the production are at the top in all senses.
The Italian pride has a name : it’s LACUNA COIL!!!!!
