A  US-Metal jewel, which is a must for collectors.

Malice is a US-Power Metal band founded in Portland, Oregon USA. They gained nationwide attention with an appearance in movie „Vice Versa“ with Tom Hanks and Fred Savage. They made themselves a name with kick ass tracks Chain Gang Woman“, „Vigilante“ or „License To Kill“. They belong to the crème de la crème of US-Metal next to Lizzy Borden, Bitch, Crimson Glory, Metal Church, Sanctuary, Helstar and Vicious Rumours.

Malice went on tour with Vicious Rumours in summer 2011 and did a show at Rock City Club in Uster, Swiss Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. They proved that they still can kick ass. Helstar singer James Rivera was behind the mic instead of Neal James.

„License To Kill“ was re-issued in 2007. There are nine killer tracks and no filler. No one else than Megadeth singer Dave Mustaine, Megadeth guitar player Dave Ellefson and Black’N’Blue / Warrant singer Jaime St. James sing in the background of „License To Kill“ and „Chain Gang Woman“.

„Christine“ is a dedication for the Stephen King movie.

The other songs on „License To Kill“ kick ass too and convice with catchy guitar tunes by lead guitarist Jay Reynolds and guitarist Mick Zane with an extraordinary vocal performance by Neal James.

This is a US-Metal jewel, which is a must for collectors and die hard fans!

Malice ist eine US-Power Metal Band, die in Portland, Oregon USA gegründet wurde. Dank einem Auftritt im Film „Big“ (US-Titel „Vice Versa“) mit Tom Hanks und Fred Savage erlangten sie landesweite Aufmerksamkeit. Dank Krachern wie „Chain Gang Woman“, „Vigilante“ oder „License To Kill“ konnten sie sich einen Namen machen und gehören zur Creme de la Creme des US-Metal neben Lizzy Borden, Bitch, Crimson Glory, Metal Church, Sanctuary, Helstar und Vicious Rumours.

Mit Vicious Rumours waren Malice im Sommer 2011 auf Europa Tour mit einem Schweizer Konzert im Rock City in Uster, Kanton Zürich. Dort zeigten sie, dass sie es immer noch drauf haben. Anstelle von James Neal stand Helstar Sänger James Rivera hinter dem Mikro.

2007 wurde „License to Kill“ wiederveröffentlicht. Darauf befinden sich neun Kracher und kein einziger Ausfall. Bei „License To Kill“ und „Chain Gang Woman“ singen im Background niemand geringeres als Megadeth Fronter Dave Mustaine mit Megadeth Gitarrist Dave Ellefson und Jaime St. James (Black’N’Blue, Warrant).

„Christine“ ist dem gleichnamigen Film von Stephen King gewidmet.

Auch die restlichen Lieder auf „License To Kill“ sind alles Kracher und überzeugen durch eingängige Gitarrenriffs von Lead Gitarrist Jay Reynolds und Gitarrist Mick Zane und einer starken Gesangsleistung von Neal James.

Das ist ein US-Metal Juwel, welches sich Sammler und eingefleischte Fans besorgen sollten! Diese Mischung aus Judas Priest und Mötley Crüe findet man nicht alle Tage.
