  Directly on Swiss Charts # 44

The Swiss Heavy Rock band The Order has landed a real coup with their fourth record “1986”. With the help of their fans, who bought many units of the new record were responsible, that the Bern guys with former Pure Inc singer Gianni Pontillo got directly on Swiss Charts # 44. In this country, Swiss Metal- and Rock bands are rarely in the charts except your name is Krokus, Gotthard, Shakra or Eluveitie.

For this reason, a record release party at Galery Music Bar was launched. The fans heard about the call and came up for havin’ a good time.

The show started on 9:30 PM with “Madman” and the crowd welcomed singer Gianni Pontillo, guitar player Bruno Spirig, bass player Andrej Abplanalp and drummer Mauro “Tschibu” Casciero. The guys started kickin’ ass right from the start and Gianni Pontillo ran like a whirlwind from the left to the right side of the stage and rocked the spectators with his raspy voice. Guitar player Bruno Spirig convinced with catchy guitar tunes and crazy solos and Bass player Andrej Abplanalp added the obligate groove. A short break occurred after “Son of Armageddon”, because there were two different sets.

The songs from the brand new record “1986” got played 15 minutes later, which were awaited already from eagerly many. In the meantime, there were more people what Gianni Pontillo with a blue bandana really liked, because he knew many faces and it felt like doin’ a private showcase.

Gurd singer V.O. Pulver is responsible why the new record got its powerful sound and he had the honour to baptize the CD with the other band members. For this reason glasses with whiskey got shared on stage and everybody except Andrej Abplanalp drank it out (he had already drunk out his glass of Whiskey during the break).

Actually, “Stop Lying In The Name of Love” should’ve been the end, but many “encore” shouts made Gianni and his colleagues kickin’ ass again with “Let The Goods Times Roll”, which ended this outstanding show.

As if that weren’t enough, you could buy T-Shirts and the current record at the merchandise corner. The other records „Metal Casino“, „Son of Armageddon“ and „Rockwolf“ were available too and you could get ‘em signed if you asked for.

Honestly, I’ve to say thank you to the band and the Galery Music Bar Team for this great evening. My hat’s off!

Chartposition 44

Mit ihrem vierten Album „1986“ ist der Schweizer Heavy Rock Formation The Order ein echter Coup gelungen. Dank dem Einsatz ihrer Fans, welche das aktuelle Werk zahlreich gekauft hatten, brachte den Berner um Ex-Pure Inc Fronter Gianni Pontillo die Chartposition 44 ein. Hierzulande steigen selten Schweizer Metal- oder Rockbands in die Charts ein, ausser man heisst Krokus, Gotthard, Shakra oder Eluveitie.

Um dies gebührend zu feiern, wurde ein CD-Release Party in der Galery Music Bar auf die Beine gestellt. Die Fans folgten diesem Aufruf und erschienen um eine gute Zeit zu haben.

Ab 21:30 Uhr ging es los mit „Madman“ und das Publikum begrüsste Sänger Gianni Pontillo, Gitarrist Bruno Spirig, Bassist Andrej Abplanalp und Schlagzeuger Mauro „Tschibu“ Casciero. Von Beginn weg legten die Jungs einen phänomenalen Auftritt hin, bei dem Sänger Gianni Pontillo wie ein Wirbelwind von der linken zur rechten Seite der Bühne stürmte und den Zuschauern mit seiner geölten Reibeisenstimme einheizte. Gitarrist Bruno Spirig zeichnete sich durch eingängige Gitarrenriffs und fetzige Soli aus und Bassist Andrej Abplanalp sorgte für den dazugehörigen Groove. Nach „Son of Armageddon“ folgte eine Pause, denn an diesem Abend gab es zwei verschiedene Sets.

15 Minuten später wurden dann die Songs vom aktuellen Album „1986“ gespielt, auf die man sehnlichste gewartet hatte. Mittlerweile waren noch mehr Leute anwesend was Sänger Gianni mit blauem Stirnband umso mehr freute, da er viele Gesichter erkannte und es sich anfühlte, als würde man ein „Wohnzimmer-Konzert“ spielen.

Weil GurD-Sänger V.O. Pulver für das derzeitige Album hinter den Reglern sass und ihm den druckvollen Sound verpasst hatte, wurde ihm mit den anderen Bandmitgliedern die Ehre zu teil die CD zu taufen. Aus diesem Grund wurden Gläser mit Whiskey auf der Bühne verteilt, der von allen bis auf Andrej Abplanalp getrunken wurde (er hatte sein Glas schon in der Pause leer getrunken).

Um 23:15 Uhr hätte mit „Stop Lying In The Name of Love“ das Ende eingeläutet werden sollen, aber wegen den zahlreichen „Zugabe“ Rufen entschlossen sich Gianni & Co. nochmals richtig Gas zu geben und spielten „Let the Good Times Roll“, mit dem dann der phänomenale Auftritt abgerundet wurde.

Als wäre das nicht genug, konnte man nach dem Konzert noch T-Shirts und das aktuelle Werk am Merchandise Stand erwerben. Die anderen Alben „Metal Casino“, „Son of Armageddon“ und „Rockwolf“ waren auch verfügbar und wurden auf Wunsch auch signiert.

Ehrlich gesagt muss ich der ganzen Band und dem Galery Music Bar Team ein Dank aussprechen für diesen tollen Abend. Ich ziehe meinen Hut!
