DEATH SS
Italy’s cult heavy rockers DEATH SS will release their new studio album “The Entity” on May 1st, 2025 via Lucifer Rising. The concept album was produced by mastermind and frontman Steve Sylvester along with the English Grammy-winning producer Tom Dalgety (Rammstein, Ghost, The Cult)
The literary inspirations of the 12-song opus range from Aleister Crowley to the characters of writers James Hogg and Robert Louis Stevenson, who explore the dark side of mankind. It also includes figures such as Jack the Ripper, Walter Sickert, and others.
The album has been preceded by four singles: 'Dr. Jekyll & Sister Hyde', 'Out To Get Me' , 'Justified Sinner' and 'Love Until Death', and these singles were released not only digitally but also as 12’ “Limited Deluxe” version.
■London, early 1900s... The occultist Aleister Crowley wants to free man from his slavery by teaching him to invoke his latent genius: the Occult God or "THE ENTITY". For this reason, he practices rites whose purpose is to establish contact with extraterrestrial and non-human entities with the ultimate aim of transcending the limitations of personality and realizing Cosmic Consciousness, thus fulfilling the magical formula of the New Aeon. During a complex ritual he manages to get into astral contact with an "Entity".
