LION'S SHARE

An e-card for LION'S SHARE's long-awaited comeback album, "Emotional Coma", can be accessed at this location (www.fanbay.se/buy/index.asp?movie_id=1897&company_id=39)

"Emotional Coma" is "the heaviest and most powerful LION'S SHARE record to date" and it features guest appearances by Bruce Kulick (KISS), Glen Drover (MEGADETH) and Mats Levén (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN). The band features guitar player and founding member Lars Chriss, along with vocalist Patrik Johansson (ASTRAL DOORS, WUTHERING HEIGHTS), bass player Sampo Axelsson (GLENN HUGHES) and well-known session drummer Richard Evensand (CHIMAIRA, SOILWORK, THERION).

LION'S SHARE made its live debut with the group's new lineup during an unannounced gig Saturday night (May 19) at Pub Anchor in Stockholm, Sweden. "The appearance was not advertised, so it was a total surprise for the audience when LION'S SHARE entered the stage and gave them 30 minutes of the finest metal," vocalist Patrik Johansson said.

"Emotional Coma" is scheduled for release on June 15 via AFM Records. Sweden Rock Festival attendees will be able to buy the CD early during the band's signing session at the event on June 7 at 5:30 p.m.

BEHEMOTH

BEHEMOTH have made their new track, "Prometherion", available for streaming exclusively at Ozzfest.com. The song comes off the group's new album, "The Apostasy", due on July 17 via Century Media Records. The band's most ambitious and epic offering yet, it was recorded in BEHEMOTH's hometown of Gdansk with the group's mainman Nergal and longtime sound engineer Malta in the producers' chairs. The effort was mixed with the acclaimed Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) at Dug-Out Studios in Sweden and mastered by Bjorn Engelmann (RAMMSTEIN, SAMAEL).

YNIS VITRIN

Ynis Vitrin on Canadian radios

- The progressive metal band YNIS VITRIN is now part of two canadian radios' playlists, Radio Propagande (www.myspace.com/radiopropagande), and UndeRadio, rádio based in Quebec which can be listened through Québédia website (www.quebedia.com).

Actually the band is recording its first full length, which will feature new songs and re-recordings of tracks taken from the demo A Dark Land, which gave Ynis Vitrin the victory in Revolver Magazine & SickMetal.com contest, where they were judged by known rock and metal artists like Lemmy (Motörhead), Katon (Hirax), Don Dokken (Dokken), Snake Sabo (Skid Row), and others.

DETONATION

Dutch melodic death/thrash metal outfit DETONATION will appear at this year's edition of Occultfest, set to take place September 1 in Hoogeveen, The Netherlands. The band is also confirmed for the Stonehenge (July 28 in Steenwijk, The Netherlands) and Multatuli (June 9 in Dongen, The Netherlands) festivals.

DETONATION recently completed a succesful U.K. tour and is getting ready to play shows in the Netherlands in support of its latest effort, "Emission Phase" (released April 30). The group states, "The first reviews are popping up on the Internet, and they are very very positive! We're very glad and very excited to see that so far the response is fucking great!"

"Emission Phase" was recorded with Split Second Sound's Jochem Jacobs (also guitar player for TEXTURES) and Bouke Visser. The cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor.

"Emission Phase" is DETONATION's third and final album for French underground label Osmose Productions.

GLYDER

Irish rockers GLYDER, who recently completed a successful European tour with THUNDER, have made their song "Stargazer" available as an exclusive free online single at their MySpace page. The bonus track "Neutral Coloured Life" is available at the same location. To make it a real single, there is specially designed artwork available for download at this location. The single will be available only for a limited time.

GLYDER finished writing its next album in the South of France during a 10-day break on its European tour with THUNDER. Entitled "Playground for Life", the CD will feature artwork by Mark Wilkinson.

THE PUSSYBATS

Wilder als die Polizei erlaubt - THE PUSSYBATS auf dem Weg in die Festivalsaison.

Bei den Vorbereitungen auf das anstehende Wave Gotik Treffen am 26.5.2007 wurden THE PUSSYBATS von der Polizei überrascht. Während die Pussys im Proberaum neues Songmaterial einstudierten alarmierten aufgebrachte Nachbarn wegen Ruhestörung die Ordnungshüter, die daraufhin das Gebäude stürmten. THE PUSSYBATS waren jedoch lauter als das Megafon der Sheriffs und rockten munter weiter. Erst als der Schaltraum für die Stromversorgung gekapert und der Saft abgedreht wurde konnten die Pussys aufgehalten werden. Zwar ließen sich die durchgeschwitzten Beamten nicht zum Versöhnungsjackie überreden, gestatteten THE PUSSYBATS jedoch bei gemäßigter Lautstärke weiterzuspielen. Es gibt wohl noch Ordnungshüter mit Musikgeschmack.

Wilder than the police permits - THE PUSSYBATS on their way to the festival season.

During their preparations for the upcoming Wave Gotik Treffen on May 26th,2007 THE PUSSYBATS were surprised by the local police. Furious neighbours had called the cops because of disorderly conduct whilst the Pussies were rehearsing new songs in their rehearsal room. The cops rushed unsucessfully into the building - their bull horn was mute against the Pussies who kept on rocking. Nothing could stop the band until the house's control room had been seized and the police had detatched the power supply. The officers were all in sweat but didn't accept a sip of Jackie for reconciliation. However, they let THE PUSSYBATS keep on rocking at slightly lower volume. They seemed to be cops with a good taste for music.

Long-running Birmingham, U.K. metallers MARSHALL LAW have cancelled their appearance at the Headbanger's Open Air (set to take place June 13-14 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany) because they still haven't found a replacement for drummer Pete Hunt who left the band last November. SHADOW OF SOUL: Shadow of Soul band has completed two new tracks for the next full-lenght. The songs are called "Soul's Stealers" and "The Rage of Ulysses".

-CONFUSION GODS: has ended the recordings of the new demo.the title is AT THE GATES OF CONFUSION.the new songs are already present on www.myspace.com/confusiongods

-DAMNED CREATION: will enter in studio to record "Martyr & Tyranny" full, in the second half of june. The work will be carried out at band's personal studios "IUD studios", while mixing and mastering will be entrusted to 16th cellar studios in Rome.

-NEVERISE: is actually finishing to compose the new songs. The band will enter the studio again in july or before the summer ends to record their new promo including 4 tracks and a probable video. Jolly roger Studio (Natron, Stench of Dismemberment...) in Casamassima (BA) will be probably chosen for the recording session. The complete tracklist will be soon announced.
